Holiday Bean to Bar Chocolate Selections (Projet Chocolat)

from 8.00

Harper Macaw Bordeaux ($14)
Released only 2 weeks ago at the Northwest Chocolate Festival, I knew I had to buy a case of this special bar. Sarah takes freshly roasted cacao beans and ages them in French oak barrels from Bordeaux so you will find notes of red wine and wood in this gorgeous beauty. It is now my personal favorite of all the Harper Macaw bars and I think it will soon become one of yours too! By the way, they make a perfect hostess gift for the holidays paired with a bottle of wine. dark chocolate . gluten free . vegan

Harper Macaw Bourbon Bar  ($14)
A limited release bar with cacao beans aged for 6 months in a bourbon whiskey barrel from One Eight Distillery in the District of Columbia. That subtle note of bourbon comes at the end and reminds me of winter. Paired with the bourbon of your choice this makes a lovely holiday gift. Everyone loves this bar!  dark chocolate . gluten free . vegan

Beau Cacao Asajaya  ($13)
Made in London, cacao beans from Malaysia and stunning as can be! I think I am the only person who has these bars for sale in the United States. A friend and colleague in the chocolate industry texted me and said I heard you have 2 cases of Beau. Word is out! Then I sold 18 bars in the first day of arrival, holding back a few bars for the MEEL marketplace. The Asajaya bar tastes of brioche, latte and ganache. Just divine.   dark chocolate . gluten free . vegan

Beau Cacao Serian  ($13)
Made with award winning beans grown my Mr. Cyril, you’ll appreciate the notes of tobacco and paprika along with the smoothest texture. In our Nashville chocolate tasting club, we all rated this our number 1 bar!  The balance of sweet and smoky are perfect for the winter.   dark chocolate . gluten free . vegan

Mademoiselle Miel Rosemary Bar ($11)
Warning! This is a bar that you will get addicted to. Made by my friend Susan in St. Paul, MN she takes maple sweetened white chocolate and combines with rosemary, pine nuts and just the slightest bit of sea salt. Susan is the Georgia O’ Keefe of chocolate and everything she makes is art. I could not stop snacking on this bar at our Women in Chocolate Retreat so I knew I had to share with you. It also makes the perfect holiday gift!  white chocolate . gluten free

Parliament Citrus Bar  ($8.50)
Citrus is classic for the holidays and so I chose the beautiful Parliament bar from Redlands, CA since it is hard to get. Also, I think everything made at Parliament is perfection and this is no exception. A dark 70% cacao chocolate with candied citrus peel and just small enough to put in a stocking, as a gift topper or a special hanukkah gift!  dark chocolate . gluten free . vegan

Cocanú Valentina  ($8)
Made with maple sugar and dark chocolate in Portland Oregon, this precious bar reminds me of Christmas morning and my childhood. I always wanted something pretty and sweet. Sebastian uses cacao beans from Ecuador and always takes care to make the smoothest of bars. The size is perfect for a stocking stuffer but I think someone would appreciate the beauty of the bar as a gift topper.  dark chocolate . gluten free . vegan
