We provide subscribers with an omnivore's diet of locally grown, organic and biodynamic vegetables, locally pastured (and grass-fed) meats, sustainable seafood & artisanal local food items, carefully curated with all the right supplemental ingredients for inspiring meals.
At MEEL, we believe that good nutrition is the foundation of wellness and strive to cultivate this for ourselves, our families, and others. Our philosophy is simple: connect to the rhythm of the year through seasonal eating, with organic, biodynamic, non-GMO ingredients that are nutrient dense and grown and raised in our community. Our menus are created using limited dairy and gluten (dairy and gluten free options are available). When dairy is used, it is typically used as a garnish that can be easily omitted.
Our weekly recipes are curated from some of our favorite food blogs, cookbooks, magazines, and travels, presenting you with inspiring ideas and resources that you will return to again and again. Each recipe card provides simple but creative preparations of whole foods that allow you to cook dinner in 45 minutes or less (winter recipes sometimes require a little more cook time but that time is usually "hands-off" while something roasts or simmers), and most importantly, eat real food! Real food that is sustainably grown and raised by people and families that are part of our community. Our weekly menus connect you directly to the local farming community.
In addition to bringing convenience to weekday eating, our meal kits, along with our curated Marketplace selections and prepared foods, will get you back in your kitchen and on a path to wellness. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we bring healthy eating habits right to your doorstep while also building community around the dinner table.
